About Me

My journey to eLearning has been an adventure based on my personal and professional aspirations. As I was studying education, I had a job at a daycare. I found I really loved developing programs and teaching other teachers how to use them in their classroom. Upon graduation, I did what every new teacher does and grabs any job they can get their hands on.. which for me was 6-8 grade Language Arts. Again, I found I loved creating new and innovative ways to teach curriculum and found myself helping others implement some of these ideas.. and along came my family :)

I don't know what I was thinking, but with a 4, 6, and 8 year old I decided to go get my Master's in Educational Leadership/Curriculum and Instruction. Much of this is a blurr! Soon after graduation I found my self as a principal of a private school. Whew! I learned so much about my self, people and what I loved to do... develop people! During my  time as a principal I found our family had big changes on the horizon. We found out we would be moving many times. My husband was re-entering active duty Air Force as an officer. Being a principal is not the best idea when  you are moving every 2-3 years. Fortunately I found a place I could grow professionally and meet the demands of my family. I started developing adult learning opportunities in the corporate world. Now I am developing a new way to develop people through blended learning opportunities emphasizing eLearning! We are starting from scratch.. so wish me luck.
